Pray for:

A) THE ELECTIONS: to be free and fair; all corrupt actions to be exposed; people to realise their huge responsibility to vote and to vote wisely and not according to fear, persuasion or tradition; minimal spoilt papers; the voting stations to be properly prepared and equipped. Pray against all political violence!  [Proverbs 11: 1; 29: 2; Isaiah 10: 1-2]

B) THE CHURCH: If My people... I'll heal their Land  [2 Chronicles 7: 14]
  1. The believers in the SA Church to humble themselves and pray. This speaks of recognising that without the Lord we cannot heal this land.  [John 15: 5]
  2. The Church to embody the Word of God. As Jesus was the Word made flesh, so we need to be a true reflection of what the Word says that we are. We need to align our lives totally with the Word of God.  [John 1: 1 & 14]
  3. The Church to be a reflection of God's love!  [John 13: 34 & 35]
  4. The Church to move boldly in the power of God.  [Mark 16: 15-18; Acts 1: 8]
  5. The Church to walk in unity - congregationally and interdenominationally.  [Ps. 133]
  6. The revival of the Church (new life).  [Revelation 3: 15-19; Habakkuk 3: 2]
  7. A huge harvest of souls.  [Luke 10: 2]
  8. And a Great Awakening.  [Ephesians 5: 14]
  9. The Revival of the Church brings forth a Harvest of Souls;
    A Revival and the Harvest combined - bring forth a Great Awakening -
    A Great Awakening is when the Church leaves the Building and shakes (influences) the City and the Nation! Pray for a Great Awakening in NMB and SA!      [Nehemiah 2: 17]

C) OUR YOUTH:
  1. Ask the Lord to break every stronghold hindering our youth and to raise up a generation which loves and serves the Lord with all their hearts!  [Psalm 119:9]
  2. Our youth to walk in the Truth of God's Word and in His Spirit.  [Jn.17:17; Romans 8: 5]
  3. Our youth to fulfil God's purposes in their lives.  [Jeremiah 29: 11]
  4. A great move of God in all our schools, colleges and universities.  [Ecclesiastes 12: 1]
  5. God's blessing on all Christian teams, organisations and churches entering our schools, colleges and universities.  [Psalm 78: 4-6]

D) CRIME and VIOLENCE:
  1. Those that have suffered any form of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) to receive godly guidance, healing from trauma, protection, and spiritual and emotional restoration.
  2. The protection of all our youth from kidnapping and human trafficking.  [Ps. 34: 17; Ps. 91]
  3. The exposure and arrest of the syndicates behind the kidnapping and human trafficking.
  4. Our Police: for wisdom, knowledge, understanding, discernment, and strategy as they seek to uncover the crime and violence in the Bay and arrest the criminals.  [Is 60: 18; Ps.101: 7-8]
  5. The Justice System: to judge righteously.  [Deuteronomy 16: 19-20]

Remember the promise: ... pray to the Lord for the city because if it prospers, you will prosper.  [Jeremiah 29:7]
