Pray for:

A. THE CHURCH: To be a transforming agent in NMB, believers to recognise that they are to present the people to God and represent God to the people! The believers to realise how mighty their God is, and to realise that what is impossible to man is possible to our God, Christians to be light and salt in the world and therefore to hold back the darkness and preserve that which is good; for the church to rise up in unity, holiness and faithfulness; the children of God to understand the times and the dangers of this particular age in which we are living, and to address these things in fervent prayer, and for individual Christians to establish their lives on the sayings of Jesus and to become true disciples. The protection of all Christians, the Church and its rights.  [Matthew 5: 13-16, 7:24-28, Psalm 91 and Psalm 133]

B. SCHOOLS: For schools to remain open to evangelism and for many learners, teachers, staff and parents to come to salvation; praise God for the Moral Regeneration Team entering the schools in NMB and the EC to preach the Gospel, teach the Word and to interact with the learners one-on-one; for wisdom for this Moral Generation Team of about 30 believers; for the protection of our children - body, soul and spirit - especially from woke ideology; Christian societies - like Scripture Union and the Student Christian Association - to be strengthened in our schools; for schools in every area to join hands to do prayer walks together and to set up Boiler Rooms, where learners can go to sit quietly before the Lord, find comfort in His Presence and pray for friends and family.

C. VIOLENCE, CRIME and CORRUPTION: Gang warfare and all violence to no longer be heard in NMB, that which is hidden to be revealed, and theft, burglaries, robbery, murder, kidnapping, human trafficking and corruption to be dealt with according to the law.  [Isa. 60: 18]

D. THE SAPS: Wisdom, knowledge, discernment and strategy to be their portion as they seek to uncover crime and corruption in the Bay, the protection of all our police, for the courts to function well and justice to rule, and criminals to be arrested and fairly tried.  [Isaiah 60: 17b]

E. NELSON MANDELA BAY Local Elections: The elections to be free and fair, for every citizen to be responsible to vote, those who feel that their vote is not important to realise that their vote in this election is extremely important, for people not to vote according to tradition or persuasion, but to think carefully about their vote and to ask the Lord to guide them. For each voter to vote for the one whom they believe is the best mayoral candidate, and for the party that stands for what the voter really believes.  [Proverbs 3: 5-6]

F. Praise God for the newly established 24/7 Interdenominational House of Prayer at No. 5 Frank Street Newton Park.  [Isaiah 62: 6-7]
