A. NELSON MANDELA BAY - Local Elections
The elections to be free and fair, for every citizen to be responsible to vote, those who feel that their vote is not important to realise that their vote in this election is extremely important, and for people not to vote according to tradition or persuasion, but to think carefully about their vote and to ask the Lord to guide them. For each voter to vote for the one whom they believe is the best mayoral candidate, and for the party that stands for what the voter really believes.  [Proverbs 3:5-6]

B. SCHOOLS
For schools to remain open to evangelism and for many learners, teachers, staff and parents to come to salvation; praise God for the Moral Regeneration Team entering the schools in NMB and the EC to preach the Gospel, teach the Word and to interact with the learners one-on-one; for wisdom for this Moral Regeneration Team of about 30 believers; for the protection of our children - body, soul and spirit - especially from woke ideology; Christian societies like Scripture Union and the Student Christian Association to be strengthened in our schools; for schools in every area to join hands to do prayer walks together and to set up Boiler Rooms where learners can go to sit quietly before the Lord, find comfort in His presence and pray for friends and family.

C. THE ECONOMY
Pray for the Lord to intervene in the very sad unemployment and poverty situation in NMB, for the Lord to stir up believers to take some action that will help to alleviate the hunger among our people, for Christians to rise up in response to this understanding and to find ways and means to support those that are already running soup kitchens by helping to serve or by supplying food, blankets and warm clothing, and for churches to care for those that are needy in their own congregations. Praise the Lord for those who are running soup kitchens and who are making a difference.
Pray for more industry to move into NMB: the Lord to raise up entrepreneurs to provide work for the unemployed, for the unemployed not to give up but to continue to seek for work, and for more financially accessible skills training for the unemployed. Highly qualified and experienced people - capable of filling the posts of Executive Directors - to fill the vacant posts in the Directorates in our NMB Municipality, and for our sons and daughters to return from afar, bringing their gold, silver and skills with them. [Isaiah 60:9]

D. THE CHURCH
The protection of all Christians, the Church and the rights of the Church. The growth of the Church: that many more people from throughout the Bay will come to salvation and be discipled in 2026. A greater unity of relationship and purpose in our congregations, denominations and interdenominational fellowships, as we work together to win the lost for Christ. The restoration, renewal, reformation, transformation and revival of Christians and the Church in the Bay. Christians to love and serve the Lord with all their hearts, to walk in love, faith and truth, and to eschew evil. [Psalm 91 and Psalm 133]
Praise God for the newly established 24/7 Interdenominational House of Prayer - No. 5 Frank Street, Newton Park.  [Isaiah 62:6-7]
