A. PEACE AND RESTORATION IN OUR LAND: Peace to settle on NMB and SA in the days after the elections, and for restoration to begin in our metros, cities and little villages. Pray for our new political leaders.  [1 Timothy 2: 1-5; Proverbs 11: 1; 29: 2]

B. THE ECONOMY OF THE NMB: Entrepreneurs to be raised up in the Bay; big business to move into our area; more jobs to become available; people to realise that they really need to work hard to make a difference; experts to fill the positions of directors in our municipal directorates; the city to spend their allocated money wisely.  [Luke 18: 27]

C. OUR NMB LEARNERS and STUDENTS that are still writing exams: Ask for the Lord to be merciful towards them as they write their final examinations for the year! Pray for them not to be anxious, but to lean on the Lord for help! The Lord to help them to take captive their thoughts. The students not to get despondent! Their families to be considerate and to give them the space and time to study. The Lord to enable them to retain what they learn, so that when they sit for the exams they will be able to recall all that they have learnt.  [Philippians 4: 6]

D. YOUTH: Pray for the thousands of young people in NMB who have responded to the Gospel over the past couple of years: to grow in their understanding of the Word, in godly character and to reach out to others with the Gospel to family and friends; pray for the Lord's protection over all our youth - body, soul and spirit - as they finish the year at schools, colleges and universities and take a holiday break; pray for them to have wholesome fun, and to join youth groups where there is good supervision and encouragement. Pray for our Sunday Schools and all children's ministries, church camps; youth groups, youth leaders, young adult groups and young adult group leaders. Pray for the Lord to light the fire of God in the hearts of our next generation, and to give the leaders of these groups great wisdom, understanding, discernment and direction.  [1Tim 4: 12; Ps. 145: 4]

E. CHURCH: Pray for the success of the many outreaches taking place in NMB; for many people to come to salvation through these outreaches; for the new believers to settle in congregations where they will be well taught; for businesspeople to catch the vision of workplace ministry. The people that have been encouraging these wonderful outreaches to not become weary in well doing, but to know that in due season they will reap if they do not lose heart; for these leaders to once again be filled with the fire of God in their innermost being. Believers to recognise the need to protect the unity in congregations and also interdenominationally; for Christians to practise the presence of God and learn to 'walk with God;' Christians to be 'salt and light' in whatever situation they find themselves. Continue to pray for the revival of the Church; and for the Church to bring forth a Harvest of Souls in 2026/27! Pray to the Father for a Great Awakening to occur in NMB and for Nelson Mandela Bay to be restored!  [Nehemiah 2: 17]
More believers and groups to reach out with the Gospel to schools, the colleges, the university, clinics, hospitals and retirement villages.
