Our name says everything:
• “SS” stand for Sola Scriptura, which is a Latin phrase meaning “Scripture alone” • "C” stands for contextual- we want to be relevant in every Culture, Sub-Culture and peoples’ group within the Nelson Mandela Metropole, the Eastern Cape, South Africa and eventually the “ends of the earth”• “Christian ministry” connects with “Sola Scripture”. We see ourselves as a dedicated Christian community, involving ourselves based on God’s infallible Word, into the lives of ordinary people

SSC Christian Ministry wants to become the preferred contextual organization in South Africa, more specifically in the Eastern Cape through focusing on the following:
- The training of church leaders, especially those belonging to the African Independent Churches.
- The further empowerment of local leaders through development of leadership skills.
- To serve as a support base for leaders from various sub-cultural groups to enhance their leadership roles within the communities.
- To play an important part in transforming local communities through intensive interaction, counseling and support of the core family structures, especially within broken families, single parents, previously disadvantaged groups.
