TRANS WORLD RADIO is an international Christian radio network,broadcasting from 13 transmission stations throughout the world to 165 countries in 180 languages. The SA headquarters being in Pretoria. T.W.R. and Radio Pulpit are 2 different organisations,having the same objectives but different target areas.

T.W.R. was founded in 1952 by Dr.Paul Freed, an American. For 50 years now it has thus been an extended missionary arm of the church (body of Christ). T.W.R. mainly broadcasts on Medium and Shortwave and in some cases on FM in Africa.The 2 transmitters in southern Africa, Johannesburg and Swaziland broadcast to Africa in more than 70 lanuages.A monthly newsletter, TWR Update, is available at no charge.TWR relies on donations from individuals
